Placement:

A good number of our students have secured jobs and working at Central, State Government, PSUs and Private Sector organisations/including Department has successfully introduced dissertation work for M.Com.  students in order to achieve interface with the business world. Today, we are proud that department of commerce synonymous with practical, industry-focused education, and attracts the best students. The fact that our alumni are working in the best companies across the world is a testament to our extremely talented faculty who inculcate, by example, in each students the support our mission with so much enthusiasm. The Department of Commerce has been instrumental in providing candidates with thorough knowledge and understanding of the principles of commerce and business. The B.Com. and M.Com. programs are structured on team based materials, to combine academic theory with practical problems, seminars and workshops on current economic and business issues are also organized in the Department. Students are provided with up-to-date knowledge through classroom lectures, seminars, conferences, case studies, class presentation and research reports. The program is assessed by a mixture of continuous assessment and examination.
