A team of students won laurels at zonal level in a research drive- “Anveshan,”; organized by AIU, New Delhi from 20- 24 March, 2013.With a view to inculcating research culture in our higher education institutions, the Association of Indian Universities had organized Zonal Level Student Research Convention 2012-13 (Anveshan) for the aspiring researchers throughout the country at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra during February 26-28, 2013. Students pursuing under graduation, post-graduation course and Ph.D. Scholars of the Universities of North India had participated in this event. Under the guidance of Dr. Bhavna Sharma, Assistant professor, Faculty of Commerce and Management with the encouragement of Prof. Ipshita Bansal, Deanand Chairperson, and wishes of all staff members of the FCM, three students of Faculty of Commerce & Management, BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Sonipat(Anuradha, Monika and Reena of M.Com.) participated and won the second prize in this event leading behind Punjab Agriculture University, and got selected forthe final phase competition. These three students participated in the final phase of exhibition/competition, which were held at National level in Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai during March 20-22, 2013.
